The Client approached the team to create a London Eco Lodge, set in the substantial grounds and impressive setting of this exclusive Richmond location.

The low level horizontal building nestles into the mature woods that surround it. The palette of timber for the exterior was intentionally chosen for its properties of slow, natural silvering, hence helping the proposed structure to settle softly into its surroundings.

The purity of the external and internal palette; the simplicity of the form; and the views directly through the property on both sides are what makes this design so successful in its natural woodland context.
