MUSWELL HILL No.2
LONDON
This Victorian house in Muswell Hill suffered from bad circulation and the flexibility required by a modern family. By creating a rear addition we were able to connect kitchen, dining and living areas, whilst creating a seating area purely for enjoying the views over the garden whilst interacting with family members in the kitchen.
Clever use of frameless glazing and projecting glass box skylights created a calming and ethereal light filled space by bringing natural daylight into the depth of the existing home.
In addition, the roof space was converted to create a spacious master suite with dressing room and en-suite bathroom. The large dormer to the rear roof provides uninterrupted views over Muswell Hill’s roof scape.
The project was finished with carefully selected fixtures, fittings and finishes to create a unique and stunning family home.
