NEW FOREST
THE MERE
Set against a backdrop of ancient woodland, this replacement dwelling overlooks a natural swimming pool within a landscape all thoughtfully designed by Studio Fuse.
This replacement dwelling has been designed for multigenerational living, the home balances generous shared spaces with opportunities for privacy and independence. Crisp zinc rooflines contrast with Siberian larch and textured linear brickwork, creating a restrained palette that sits comfortably within its surroundings.
Architecture and naturalistic planting are conceived together, bringing water, woodland and the changing seasons into daily
life, supporting wellbeing through a close connection to the
landscape.
A highly insulated, airtight envelope combines with solar PV, battery storage, a ground source heat pump and passive cooling strategies to deliver year-round comfort with low energy demand.
